Coach Suzanne is a native of Central Florida.  Growing up in Clermont, Suzanne excelled in sports, and in high school she played sports all four years — volleyball, softball, and basketball.  She was selected for Lake County’s All-County Volleyball Team in her junior and senior years.  While a junior, Suzanne was also recognized as the “Volleyball Player of the Year” in Lake County by both The Orlando Sentinel and the Daily Commercial.

 

With a full sports scholarship to Pasco-Hernando Community College, Suzanne continued to play and excel as an athlete, and she was captain of her college softball team in her second year.  Having completed her Bachelors degree in Education from the University of South Florida, Coach Suzanne has been teaching in Lake County for a total of 16 years — both as an elementary and middle school teacher.

 

Coach Suzanne has been coaching volleyball at Clermont Middle for three years and has experience in coaching club volleyball as well. 

She is excited to join ST7 Volleyball because she believes that this club helps to make a positive impact on young athletes both on and off the court.  “It is exciting to be a part of something so positive!”
